Recent jobs across Leeds: 5 to 14 October 2026

By Steve, Director at White Rose · 15 October 2026 · 2 min read

Here is a round-up of some of the jobs our team completed across Leeds recently. We work for homeowners, landlords and letting agents all over the city, on everything from gas and plumbing to full property refurbishments.

Headingley (LS6): blocked bath on Cardigan Road

For Loc8me Student Lettings. The tenants reported their bath was taking far longer than usual to drain. Ruth plunged the bath waste and cleared the blockage, and the bath is now draining normally again.

Woodhouse (LS2): leak into the flat below on Back Blenheim Terrace

For Loc8me Student Lettings. Water was showing as a damp patch on the ceiling and skirting of the flat below. Noman traced the likely source to the pipework between the two flats, and on a follow-up visit Ruth found a soil pipe extension piece that had sagged out of line. She fitted rigid angled connectors and clipped the pipe securely to stop the leak.

Hyde Park (LS6): student house refurbishment on Chapel Fold

For Linley & Simpson Students. We have now finished a full refurbishment of this student house, with Noman fitting the new carpets this week. Earlier in the job Ian fitted new uPVC windows and doors, Dayle fitted a new outside light, cleared the moss from the roofs with a biocide treatment and relaid the flags at the front, and William fitted new headboards, hung a new rear gate and finished the decorating.
